On May 12th we were joined by Cheltenham Champion jockey and Grand National winner Rachael Blackmore as we kicked off our SalesSense “To Be A Star” series. In a very honest and open interview with CEO Ger Teahon, Rachael was kind enough to share her inspirational journey with the team giving us a great insight into her work ethic, patience, resilience, drive and understanding of people. What an absolute privilege to speak to someone that continuously sets the bar higher.
To Be A Star is an internal communication forum developed by the staff in SalesSense in response to feedback received through our Quarterly Engagement Surveys. It is a cornerstone of our CSR programme and helps us to stay connected, share updates on the business, catch up and celebrate our successes. We take inspiration from superstars such as Rachael, and through To Be A Star we hope to inspire our own SalesSense stars.
A big thank you to Rachael Blackmore and Rebecca Evans for facilitating the event.
Elsewhere in the programme COO Simon Brown hosted a session that reflected on the interesting journey that SalesSense has been through during 2020 and 2021, reflecting on the many highs along the way. In spite of the challenging market conditions, the company delivered against a number of key strategic goals, including developing business in new countries and entering new markets such as Medical Technology. Simon took the time to thank everyone involved who had made this performance possible, before looking to the future and updating the audience on the positive trajectory of business performance. This momentum will allow SalesSense to deliver further growth and Simon closed the session by providing a sneak preview of several new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
A great day to kick off the To Be A Star series and one that will be remembered by everyone in the team for some time to come.
