Celebrating our ISO standards of 9001, 14001 and 27001

\"\"

As a partner company, SalesSense spends a lot of time looking to the future with our clients. In our Operating Model the “Innovate” stage is crucial in ensuring the long-term success of our customer relationships. This is  particularly important as the lack of innovation is the most cited reason in our industry as to why outsourcing contracts fail.

This sounds simple enough, but of course the biggest challenge for many service providers can be earning this right to innovate. At SalesSense we do this through our passion for continuous improvement. As we approach  the summer season, I want to take a moment to celebrate the success of the SalesSense team in  recently attaining ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001. Holding these top three independently audited standards simultaneously, is a significant milestone and here are my top 5 reasons to celebrate what this translates into for our clients in 2022.

1. Commitment

Anyone who has been through the process of achieving ISO certification understands the level of commitment and investment that is required to reach these standards. It sends a signal to both existing and potential customers that they can trust in the processes that are in place, and they can have confidence in choosing an ISO audited company’s products and services. This confidence is further built on by the long-term commitment to best practices that are contained within the standards.

2. Quality

ISO 9001 is defined as the international standard that specifies the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). In achieving this standard, companies need to  demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Regarding our partners, they benefit from their customers receiving an enhanced customer experience resulting in better customer retention and an increase in new customers. They can also rest assured that this high standard is continuously maintained as SalesSense’s performance is periodically audited by the International Standards Association .

3. Sustainability

ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements a company should strive to achieve in terms of an environmental management system. The process of attaining ISO 14001 helps organizations improve their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and the reduction of waste.  This is of huge importance to SalesSense and its partners who share the common goal of leaving the planet in a better place for future generations.

In February 2022, SalesSense achieved this prestigious accolade from the ISO. This was a direct result of SalesSense implementing a state-of-the-art Environmental Management System. In addition to SalesSense’s sustainability endeavours recognised by the ISO, SalesSense is the first professional services company to receive classification from Planet Arborist.

The Planet Arborist classification is testament to SalesSense’s strengths in terms of Diversity, Ethics, commitment to the local economy, sustainability and water efficiency.

4. Information Security Management

ISO 27001 is the international standard that describes best practices for an ISMS (information security management system). ISO 27001 takes a risk-based approach to evaluating a company’s information security.

Data Security

Achieving ISO 27001:2013 demonstrates that information security is at the heart of the culture of the company, with continuous measurement, clearly defined processes, and a strict annual audit. As a data processor SalesSense is highly sensitive to the requirements of GDPR  and the added confidence that ISO 27001 brings is important to our own strict governance processes.

SalesSense is also in a very strong position when it comes to counteracting cyber-crime, viral attacks, and vandalism. It gives our partners peace of mind that their customer information is protected to the very highest standard.

New technology

The ISO process allows the company to explore new technologies in a safe and controlled way, offering clients the benefit of innovation without exposure to risk.

PCI compliance

Payment card industry (PCI) compliance is mandated by credit card companies to help ensure the security of credit card transactions in the payments industry. (Source: Investopedia). SalesSense is fully PCI compliant.

Working from Home / Business Continuity

Our failover to 100% Working from Home(WFH)  in the first lockdown demonstrated the robustness of our technologies. Ensuring that these processes follow the ISO 27001 requirements provides added assurance to both our clients and our staff that they can deliver business as usual customer experience in the most secure environments

5. Development of New Services

At the outset of the article, I explained the crucial role that the “Innovate stage” plays for each of our clients in the SalesSense Operating Model. These conversations stimulate broader discussions around strategy in the company. In 2022 SalesSense will be developing new services that  harness our existing values of “Teamwork, Inspiring, Excellence and delivery capabilities in SOS² , to offer new solutions to enhance customer experience. The confidence of having ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 audited processes underpin our design thinking is perhaps the biggest reason to be cheerful as we look forward to the rest of the year ahead.
